    I am Jimmy Washam and I have lived for fishing and the outdoors since I was old enough to walk. By age 3 I earned the nickname "Wheel em in," because I could be heard across the lake pleading to reel my dad's fish in. I was blessed with a father that introduced and involved me in the outdoors, and now I am proudly passing it on to my son. 

    Along the way, I have developed a furthering passion for tournament angling. I started out fishing open charity tournaments, then joined a local bass club, then graduated to an organized fishing league. After a successful 2019 season in the FLW Series Central Division, I qualified for and accepted the invitation to compete on the  MLF Pro Circuit. This is a goal I have worked toward for a very long time and I am excited to compete on the national tour.

  In my experience, and progression in tournament angling, I have found that the little details make a very big difference in overall success. When I became a part of Black Bass Tackle Industries, it was evident to me that I could only add to an already existing mission of building flawless lures that catch more fish. No corners are cut, no details are ignored, and the end result is a bait that gives me an edge on the water. 

Jimmy and I are committed  to the production of  high quality tackle that is proven to catch fish. These quality components include extremely durable paint,  high quality Mustad brand hooks, and hand built custom skirts.
